Geohazard and risk in Timor-Leste

Timor Leste is a dynamic environment, substantially prone to landslides, earthquakes and tsunami due to its geological setting and history. Agreements on major projects should be informed by understanding of the relevant geotechnical and environmental hazards and impacts.  Baseline understanding of environmental indicators in Timor-Leste are rare and should be developed at an early stage during any project.
