  • Steve Dutch's website: Steve's website provides great resources for students learning about geometric analysis techniques in structural geology
  • Rick Allmendinger's software provides a useful, free resource for structural geologists at all levels of their careers. Please be sure to cite him if you use the software in your theses and publications.
  • This site at ETH Zurich has some great resources, just be sure to click on the little Union Jacks to get the English version.

  • More about Mohr circles, again from Steve Dutch.
  • A quite amazing collection of structural geology animations by Rob Holcombe.
  • The online resource for Plummer, McGeary and Carlson's "Physical Geology" has some great animations. Just select a chapter and click on the animations and movies link. Its a good idea to have the book to hand.
  • van der Pluijm and Marshak's book has its own website too.
  • My new earthquake hazards chapter is presently available on Mark Quigley's website. Also check out the useful supplementary information.
